532-13032 – An extremely abrasion resistant coating that is often used as one of the layers in a multi-layer coating with a topcoat of 532-5010 or 532-5011 for smoothness.
532-13054 – Also know as “Powder Ruby Red”, this coating is highly permeation resistant. Compared with the other PFA coatings, at equal film builds, the 532-13054 will generally be twice as resistant to permeation. This product is often used as one of the layers in a multi-layer coating. It is recommended that a clear PFA topcoat be used to seal this coating.
532-5010 – This is a clear standard grade PFA coating for film thickness of 3-10 mils. It is a very widely used product for a variety of industries and end-uses because of its ease of use and outstanding performance.
532-5011 – The finer particle size of this product makes it the best alternative when a thin (<5 mils), smooth coating is needed. This can also be used as the finish coat over other PFA products to provide a smooth final surface.
MP-501 – Formerly known as 532-5012, this is the most commonly used product for coatings of 5-25 mils. This product is known for its ease of application when building thick film builds.
532-5310 – A high molecular weight makes 532-5310 tougher and more resistant to stress cracking than 532-5010. It is designed for end uses where thermal cycling of the coated item may cause micro-cracking or stress cracking of the surface. Due to the higher molecular weight, this product does not flow during bake as much as does 532-5010, so additional dwell time during the cure cycle is required to achieve smoothness of the coating.
532-5450 – While this product generally allows for thick film build per coat, it requires more care in application because of the high molecular weight, lower melt flow characteristics of this polymer.
532-7000 – A sparkling version of the 532-5010 PFA coating. The sparkle provides an aesthetically pleasing coating.
532-7100 – A white version of the 532-5010 PFA coating that makes it ideal for food processing and pharmaceutical applications.
532-7410 – The ultimate PFA coating for toughness and stress crack resistance. This is a highest molecular weight PFA product available from DuPont.
857N-110 - This is a water-base version of 532-5010, however it is not FDA conforming. It was developed as a clear topcoat for the Ruby Red PFA products. It is capable of thicker film builds up to 5 mils.
857N-210 - This is also a water-based version of 532-5010. It provides a clear, smooth finish at film build of 3 mils or less.
857N-917 - Also know as “Liquid Ruby Red”, this coating is highly permeation resistant and can be easily built to very thick film builds per coat. This product is recommended for parts with geometries or sizes that do not allow Compared with the other PFA coatings, at equal film builds; 857N-917 will generally be twice as resistant to permeation. This product is often used as one of the layers in a multi-layer coating. It is recommended that a clear PFA topcoat be used to seal this coating.
