Introducing 857N-018 Blue
The DuPont Company and Intech Services, Inc. are pleased to announce a new addition to our family of Teflon* Industrial Coatings. After extensive research development and testing 857N-018, a water-based blue PTFE one-coat, is now in stock and available at Intech Services.
As environmental concerns in North America continue to tighten on our community of coaters, Dupont introduces a water based one coat for corrosion resistance and anti galling. With VOC’s of less than 3lbs per gallon this water based one coat uses water for both cleanup and thinning.
857N-018 was developed specifically for environments where anti-corrosion and anti-galling are required. The anti-corrosive qualities improve when the coating is paired with a zinc phosphate pre-treatment; however, it also works very well when applied over a cleaned and lightly blasted substrate.
857N-018 is a blue PTFE one coat that cures at a low 450F. It is very affordable and can be built up to 2.5mils if multiple coats are required.
