Last week, we had our Intech Information Institute, or I3, training sessions at the Embassy Suites in Newark, Delaware. Coaters came from all corners of the US and Canada to learn from and connect with experts on industrial coatings from Intech and DuPont.
The first day and a half was the Product, Markets, and Sales Strategies course that covered everything from the different types of DuPont™ Teflon® industrial coatings and their properties, to how to make a good sales call. The third day was devoted to spray training, where we used the VirtualPaint® system from the Iowa Waste Reduction Center and the University of Northern Iowa to virtually spray all types of part geometries.
