Intech Celebrates the 4th of July!

Last Thursday, June 29th, Intech had a fantastic time relaxing, eating crabs, grilling, and playing corn hole together on such a beautiful day. The sun was shining as we set up tables, chairs, and corn hole sets, and smelled the scent of burgers and hotdogs grilling while we listened to great music and had wonderful conversation with coworkers and friends.

Several Intech employees brought in their own dishes, such as homemade chips and guacamole, vegetable flatbread, assorted pasta salad sides, fruits and vegetables, and various desserts. It is always good to take time out of the day to enjoy nice weather and great food with good company.

The team at Intech hopes that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July and an even better holiday weekend! "Independence now and forever."

Intech Information Institute 2017 Workshop!

We are so excited about our upcoming Intech Information Institute, otherwise known as I3. This exciting, one day seminar hosted by us, Intech Services, the sole distributor for Teflon™ industrial coatings to the U.S. and Canada, will be held at the Embassy Suites Atlanta Buckhead on October 10th-11th, 2017.

We love helping coaters learn more about Teflon™ coatings and all they can provide for their customers. The I³ workshop was created to provide formal training to enhance the Teflon™ coating customer’s knowledge of the product, markets, sales process, and application methods. The workshop offers information on the latest Teflon™ coating product technologies, up-to-date market trends, and sales strategies for the coating industry.

The Product, Markets, & Sales Strategies for Teflon™ Coatings is an intensive seminar designed to provide attendees with a complete, comprehensive look at the Teflon™ product line. Everyone who participates will gain valuable insight about product selection criteria in order to make accurate product recommendations. An overview of the foundation of a sales process, as well as specific market trends that affect industrial coatings, are also included in this seminar.

No Extra Steps: Application Straight from the Package

Unlike finishes from several other brands, our products are always ready to go. Every product we have can be applied right from the container as packaged. Many other companies’ products need additives or hardeners that have to be bought in addition, cost more, and add unnecessary time to the process.

Chemours’ Teflon™ products are fully ready for use by you, exactly when you need them.

Intech Promotes Wellness with In-House Chair Massages

After this year's fitness challenge, many of the Intech employees were in need of massages to ease sore muscles. Although exercise is great for your body, we often forget to stretch and relax. To further promote healthy lifestyles, the Wellness Team organized in-house chair massages for all employees throughout the day on Wednesday, May 24th! Employees were given 15-minute massages to feel rejuvenated, energized, and to ease the pain of any tense muscles. Thank you to Joy from Serenity Yoga of Middletown, Delaware!

We hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

Giving Back: A Check for the Children

On April 6, 2017, Intech Services hosted our annual fundraiser at Catherine Rooney’s in Trolley Square. The event raised money for Exceptional Care for Children, or the ECC. Exceptional Care for Children is the first and only pediatric, skilled nursing facility in Delaware. The ECC improves the lives of technology-dependent children and their families through skilled nursing, transitional and palliative care. Funded solely through donations and grants, every dollar helps to positively impact the lives of children.

Our annual fundraiser was a huge success. Thanks to our donated raffle items, live auction items, our corporate sponsors, and the money raised through guest bartending tips and the 50/50 raffle, we managed to raise over $11,000 for the ECC, far exceeding last year’s fundraiser and even our $10,000 goal for this year. It takes a village to make something like this so successful, and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of such a generous “village”.

Today, Shannon McLaughlin and Yolanda Rushdan, who are in charge of fundraising year round at the ECC, stopped by Intech to pick up the proceeds. We snapped a picture with them and the Community Service team, as well as Intech’s president, Mike Patterson.

Everyone on the Community Service team was thrilled to work with these ladies who do so much to positively impact the lives of so many. We hope that the money raised can help make Shannon and Yolanda’s jobs and the lives of the kids they serve just a little bit easier. It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work closely with such a great organization in our community. We are all looking forward to next year’s fundraiser and finding new and even better ways to give back.

Lead Time: Much Faster than Competitors

We hear it all of the time. “How did you guys get this shipped to me so quickly?” or “I’m not used to this.” No ifs, ands, or buts; our lead times are great. With fewer steps in the process, Intech’s goal is next day shipment. Our competitors are often consistently a two-week wait. Intech Services and Chemours work closely to forecast customer demand, helping us to stock appropriately to benefit your shipping needs.
