Intech Promotes Wellness with In-House Chair Massages

After this year's fitness challenge, many of the Intech employees were in need of massages to ease sore muscles. Although exercise is great for your body, we often forget to stretch and relax. To further promote healthy lifestyles, the Wellness Team organized in-house chair massages for all employees throughout the day on Wednesday, May 24th! Employees were given 15-minute massages to feel rejuvenated, energized, and to ease the pain of any tense muscles. Thank you to Joy from Serenity Yoga of Middletown, Delaware!

We hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend.

I³ Webinar Series: Teflon™ Coatings in the Chemical Processing Industry

Our first webinar in the I³ Webinar Series is coming up soon! On May 23rd at 2:00PM EST, join Chris Dohl of Intech Services to learn more about Teflon™ coatings in the Chemical Processing industry! Register here for the thirty-minute, informative webinar at no cost.

The chemical processing environment can be extremely harsh and corrosive, especially where steam is present. Many coatings help protect base metals but consistently fail at elevated temperatures over 300°F. Teflon™ Ruby Red was formulated to handle these conditions and has been unmatched in performance since its release on the market. During this upcoming webinar, learn more about the negative effects of chemical permeation on standard coatings and how Teflon™ Ruby Red combats these effects.

Giving Back: A Check for the Children

On April 6, 2017, Intech Services hosted our annual fundraiser at Catherine Rooney’s in Trolley Square. The event raised money for Exceptional Care for Children, or the ECC. Exceptional Care for Children is the first and only pediatric, skilled nursing facility in Delaware. The ECC improves the lives of technology-dependent children and their families through skilled nursing, transitional and palliative care. Funded solely through donations and grants, every dollar helps to positively impact the lives of children.

Our annual fundraiser was a huge success. Thanks to our donated raffle items, live auction items, our corporate sponsors, and the money raised through guest bartending tips and the 50/50 raffle, we managed to raise over $11,000 for the ECC, far exceeding last year’s fundraiser and even our $10,000 goal for this year. It takes a village to make something like this so successful, and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of such a generous “village”.

Today, Shannon McLaughlin and Yolanda Rushdan, who are in charge of fundraising year round at the ECC, stopped by Intech to pick up the proceeds. We snapped a picture with them and the Community Service team, as well as Intech’s president, Mike Patterson.

Everyone on the Community Service team was thrilled to work with these ladies who do so much to positively impact the lives of so many. We hope that the money raised can help make Shannon and Yolanda’s jobs and the lives of the kids they serve just a little bit easier. It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work closely with such a great organization in our community. We are all looking forward to next year’s fundraiser and finding new and even better ways to give back.

Lead Time: Much Faster than Competitors

We hear it all of the time. “How did you guys get this shipped to me so quickly?” or “I’m not used to this.” No ifs, ands, or buts; our lead times are great. With fewer steps in the process, Intech’s goal is next day shipment. Our competitors are often consistently a two-week wait. Intech Services and Chemours work closely to forecast customer demand, helping us to stock appropriately to benefit your shipping needs.
